What is the world of a philologist? Is a philologist only a teacher? Does a philologist study only grammar and vocabulary? Does it pay off to be a philologist? These were the questions that Piotrek Matczak – our former student and current 5th-year student of English Philology in Poznań – answered in his mini-lecture today. The students from IIB, IIIB and IVB with the extended programme of English had the unique chance to listen to Piotrek’s inspiring speech on how fascinating and enjoyable working with the English language is.
